Shipping Policy
Overview
Geo-Metric Procurement coordinates the shipment of durable medical equipment from our network of verified vendors directly to your healthcare facility. Orders may ship from multiple vendors and arrive in separate packages.
Shipping Carriers
We work with the following carriers to deliver your orders:
- UPS
- FedEx
- USPS
- DHL
Carrier selection is determined by the fulfilling vendor based on product type, weight, destination, and delivery requirements.
Delivery Timeframes
Standard delivery timeframes vary based on product availability and your location. Most in-stock items ship within 1–3 business days of order confirmation. Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on the carrier and destination. Specialized or made-to-order equipment may require additional lead time, which will be communicated at the time of ordering.
Multi-Vendor Fulfillment
Because our platform sources equipment from multiple vendors, a single order may result in multiple shipments. Each shipment is tracked independently, and you will receive separate tracking information for each package. Your order detail page displays the status and tracking information for all shipments associated with your order.
Partial Shipments
If certain items in your order are temporarily out of stock, we will ship the available items and process a refund for any items that cannot be fulfilled. You will be notified of any partial shipment adjustments through the Platform.
Order Tracking
Tracking information is available on your order detail page once items have shipped. Each shipment includes:
- Carrier name
- Tracking number (linked to the carrier's tracking page)
- Shipment status
- Items included in the shipment
Shipping Addresses
Orders are shipped to the address provided during checkout. Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete, including any suite numbers, building names, or delivery instructions relevant to your facility. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.
Receiving and Inspection
We recommend inspecting all shipments upon arrival. If you notice any damage, missing items, or discrepancies, please submit an after-sales request through the Platform within 30 days of delivery. See our Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy for details.
DME Equipment Handling
Durable medical equipment may require special handling during shipping. Vendors are responsible for appropriate packaging to ensure products arrive in proper condition. Large or heavy equipment may require freight shipping and delivery appointment scheduling. Your vendor will coordinate directly with the carrier for such shipments.
